The Box Pops Organization was established and founded by Marvin B. Scott Jr., who for more than a decade has been a community advocate providing resources, workshops, and podcasts (Man University) supporting his vision of helping men realize their full potential. Aside from being raised as a “Preacher’s Kid” and oldest son of 9 children, Mr. Scott is an Air Force Veteran, Prince Hall Origin Freemason, American Legion member, MMA Fighter, and a 2X IBJJF Master World medalist. Mr. Scott has also performed as an actor in several roles from the big screen to plays in the community that brought awareness to domestic violence, LGBTQ awareness, feeding and cutting hair for the homeless, providing Christmas gifts in the community, etc. As The Box Pops' founder and girl dad, his love and efforts extend through his own life experiences, and teachings are passed down unconditionally. As a servant to his community, Mr. Scott believes being cognizant of his fortitude & health is a big part of the next generation’s development. Continued improvement is the captain of his soul and what The Box Pops Organization offers to other men and fathers in need.
